Life is Real

Life is real too real sometimes.  Since my last post in January, my mom had a heart attack.  I have had to spend time to help her and lots of other little things have happened.  All this adds up to stress and lost focus on my Herbalife diet and business.  I do not apologize for this because life is real and such as life stuff happens that you have no control over.  You just have to keep going and refocus when the time is right.
I do believe that I have gone back to my old habits of eating or not eating.  Seems that when I get busy and have so much on my mind I just forget to eat, and when I do eat it is some kind of comfort food such as cakes, candy, sweets.
So, today is a new day; and I plan on making the best of it as life permits.  Yesterday was Easter.  Thinking about the so real meaning and reason for the Holiday, I have decided to start again on my wellness program.  I wish to invite anyone else that would like to join me.
Spring is here and gives me new energy and hope.  I hope that it can do the same for someone else also.  So if you are interested my webpage is:

Second Life vs. Real Life

Let Herablife help the Real Life you be more like the Second Life you.  Get Healthier from the Inside & Out.  Herbalife is about feeling better and looking Healthier.  If you're interested, let me help.
Read about the products or even ask your Doctor if Herbalife can help you in your efforts to be a "Better You" in the year 2012.
I play a game called Second Life, and still do. In Second Life I like how I look and feel.  In Real Life, I didn't feel as healthy or as happy.  I wanted something that was all natural to help the Real Life me become more like my Second Life me.  Herbalife has helped me to start on that road and I already feel better, and have lost some of my weight.  Even during the holiday's, I was able to maintain the weight I had lost; and now in the New Year have started on my way back to losing more.
I have more energy, feel less stressed, and feeling healthier already since I started my program.  It is only going to get better has I continue.  Herbalife has products for all aspects of your life.  Products include: Weight Management, Targeted Nutrition, Energy & Fitness, and Personal Care.  I personally have not tried them all yet, but am on my way by starting with the Weight Management, Targeted Nutrition, and Energy & Fitness products.  So far I love all that I have tried and look forward to trying others soon.
With that said, join me and let Herbalife help you on your way to "Wellness" in this New Year.

New Year … New Start … New Beginnings

So, the past few months have been rather trying for me.  My attempts to stay focused on my diet have failed.  My finances have not been the best either with our family's main source of income being down.  The fact remains that I do not and will be discouraged.
Today is New Years Day.  I plan on starting this year on the right foot and with the right attitude.  Starting today I plan on monitoring my eating habits, and focusing on Wellness.   Not starting a "Diet" but making a Life change.  I do plan on using the Herbalife products to help me do this.
Without going into detail, I plan to use the Herbalife system to become better and understand more about how to get healthy and stay healthy this year.
If anyone wants to join me, you can purchase products from my website now, after a small registration process.

Strike One Up for Stress!

Well this week has proven to be very stressful for both my son and I.  Not a good week for the diet.  Without going into detail, there was an Accident, an ER visit, and one very pissed off Mom.  Diet was the fatherliest thing from our minds.
So we take a quick break, a step back, a deep breath in and we regroup.  We have not given up yet, just going to have to refocus on the task at hand and move forward.
With that said, the Relax Now, the Sleep Now, and the Tang Kuei Plus came in very handy.   I do believe without these items I might have "Gone Postal" on a certain Mental Health Group and a Bus Company.
All in all we are still alive.  We well will survive another day.  The two of us will press forward; continue to be thankful to our Heavenly Father, and work steady to reach our goals.
Thank you all for your encouragement.  It is greatly appreciated.

Under 200 lbs and still going strong!

Yay!  I am under 200 lbs now and feeling especially good.  The Kid has lost much more than I have, but I think we need a new scale.   With that said, I can only estimate how much he has lost, but we think it is almost 40 lbs if not more now.   Yay! for him too!!!
As I mentioned last week, Hubby started the diet plan also.  He really likes the Liftoff Energy Drinks.  We have found that the Shakes are really easy for him to use in the truck, and it is saving him so much money from buying Truck Stop Meals.
Overall, I we figured for a week's supply of two Formula 1 Shakes, the Herbalife Tea, Total Control, one snack bar, and one liftoff per day for one week's time has saved him $103.26 dollars.
I did some more figuring on this with the thought of him, and other Trucker's, being out for one month at a time.  With the Advanced Program; which includes most of the supplements' needed, but not the snacks; would only cost him $6.94 dollars per day.  That is for, not one, but two meals per day.
So let us compare this to a normal truck stop meal.  The average Truck Stop meal is $10.00 dollars not including the tip.   Two meals per day would be $20.00 if not more, with the savings of at least $13.06 per day on meals for one day.  That would be a savings of at least $391.80 dollars per month.  Not to mention that you would be losing unwanted weight and have all the essential vitamins' for a healthier you.

Two Weeks Down

Whoo Hooo!  Two weeks into my diet and feeling pretty good.  I have been bad this week and only lost about two pounds, but now am more motivated to work harder and maybe add some exercise to my efforts.  My son has been doing great.  He has been walking down to the lake at least once a day and lost approximately 10 more pounds.  We really do need to get a larger scale for him that is if we can find one.   Over all I am happy with the plan and need to stay focused and motivate.  The Kid and I have decided to find a goal and our "Motivation".  Hopefully this will help keep us focused.
I worked on trying to sell some of the product this week.  I have spoke with several people and got a few inquiries about the products, but have not sold any as of yet.  I have my www.shopherbalife.com/jhead1 web page going now and hopefully it will get some hits and maybe some business for me.  This way if they are interested they don't have to wait on me to order it for them, they can order what they want and do not have to give me their personal information.
Hubby really likes the liftoff energy drinks.  He said that they are much better than the other energy drinks he has tried being as they don't give him the crazy feeling.   He said he seemed more able to focus and had less irritability after drinking them as opposed to some of the others he has used.

The First Week

Good Morning,
Well now it has been a full week.   Overall it has been a good week for both my son and me, but not without its challenges.  I have to say that replacing my first cup of coffee in the mornings with the Herbal tea has not been difficult at all.  I find that that I prefer mine hot, but my son prefers it cold.  I guess it may just be a Southern thing, but we both prefer some sweeteners in it.
We both have had our difficulties this week.  My challenge has been to remember it is time to eat.  I had gotten is such a rut with my diet as for I would forget to eat or even drink anything.   So two shakes a day with one healthy meal along with three snacks may not seem difficult to most people, but I have found it challenging.  For my son, he is use to eating such big meals that the one shake and cup fruit/veggies for a meal leaves him a bit lacking.
Overall we both found that we have lost some weight.  The Kid has lost 15 lbs., and I have lost five so far.
The one thing that has helped both of us is keeping a log of the time we ate and what we had to eat.  Setting a timer for two hours has helped also.  We decided to vary our balanced meal each day.  The biggest challenge has been on the days that he has to go to group.  We will have to continue to work on more of a schedule for him on these days, but have found that if we have our one meal scheduled for when he gets home from group has been a help.
We both quickly found that Dad being home threw a monkey wrench into the schedule.  He has agreed that he could loose some weight as well, and is willing to try the Herbalife plan as well.
We have discussed how the product will be easy for him to use over the road.  Keeping a week or month work of food in the truck and keeping it fresh has always been a challenge for him.  At least this way he has two meals per day that he does not have to worry about it spoiling or taking up so much room in the truck.
Buying a carton of milk to make his shake will not be that difficult at most truck stops and will cost him much less that buying a meal.  As for the cost over all it looks like we will be saving some money on his meals.   We added up the cost of the meals of him eating out daily verses the Herbalife system and one meal per day.  Replacing two meals, at least one snack and adding the extra vitamins will cut the cost to $12.85 dollars from his normal $30.00 to 40.00 dollars.  This will be a savings of at very least $17.15 per day, or $514.00 per month.  Having the product in the truck will also eliminate days at a loading dock without having anything in the truck to eat at all.  We have decided that getting him the shakes that can be made with water instead of milk will be a great help as well.
